Testimonials

Hank the Therapy Dog
"Hank completed 6 weeks of training at Certified Canine Services in Pulaski. In his 6 weeks at Evans Mills Primary School, he has already had an immense impact on students and staff alike. Many of our students have a parent who has recently deployed, when feelings are overwhelming, Hank has provided comfort with snuggles and play. We are thankful for the generous donation from the North Country Spouses Club for helping to make this happen!"

Katy Beth - Student
"I am very thankful to have received a scholarship from the North Country Spouses’ Club, which greatly reduced the financial burden that often comes with pursuing any degree, particularly a graduate degree. I was able to concentrate more on my studies without the pressure of taking on multiple jobs. It gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in my coursework and focus on becoming the clinician I aim to be. Overall, this scholarship helped to shape my experience of graduate school into a successful and rewarding experience."

Blue Sharks Swim Team
"On behalf of the Watertown Family YMCA Blue Sharks Swim Team we would like to thank the North Country Spouses’ Club for their generous donation to our community swim team. We were able to purchase kickboards, pull buoys, and lap counters for our team. Our enrollment this season is approximately 135 swimmers from all over the northern New York area. We appreciate your support! Thank you again, Coach Lori Peters"
