Scholarships and Grants

The North Country Spouses’ Club is a non-profit organization that raises funds for our scholarships and grants program.

Our scholarship program provides funding for military dependents currently or previously affiliated with Fort Drum who are accepted into or attending a 4 year college/university, 2 year community college or trade school program. Must be full-time. The NCSC grants program has distributed monies annually to various local non-profit organizations surrounding the

Fort Drum community.

SCHOLARSHIPS

North Country Spouses' Club Scholarships Eligibility Requirements:

Must be a military ID Card holder either currently or previously affiliated with Fort Drum.
Must be a High School Senior graduating in 2025 OR currently enrolled in a full-time accredited program of study at an undergraduate or graduate level.
Must be accepted into or attending an accredited college (to include four-year colleges/universities, two-year colleges, and community colleges), accredited trade school, Police Academy, Fire Academy, or EMS/Ambulance Academy.
Must commence program of study no later than the first academic year following the awarding of the scholarship
Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, political affiliation, gender identification, social or economic status

Blue Sharks Swim Team

"On behalf of the Watertown Family YMCA Blue Sharks Swim Team we would like to thank the North Country Spouses’ Club for their generous donation to our community swim team. We were able to purchase kickboards, pull buoys, and lap counters for our team. Our enrollment this season is approximately 135 swimmers from all over the northern New York area.
